Greanvine - Mark You That & Noat You Wel (2014)

Diana Collier and Steven Collins formed Greanvine as the Owl Service went into hibernation in early 2012 with nothing more in mind than playing songs they’re passionate about purely for the love of it. Whereas their previous band had increasingly sought inspiration from traditional British folksong, Greanvine were determined to set themselves no such boundaries and over the past 2 years they’ve honed a repertoire which includes songs by Iron Maiden, The Velvet Underground, Baby Dee, Lal Waterson, Donovan, Low, Galaxie 500 and Vashti Bunyan among others. On the occasions they have strayed into trad terrority they’ve used synths and stark, heavy electric guitars for their accompaniment.
