Ethan Skinner - Writing With Fire (2015)

The album contains 15 instrumentals that were written through the influences of several rock groups well known during the 80's and 90's. Such groups were Def Leppard, Dokken, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Ozzy, Savatage, Joe Satriani, Scorpions, Testament, Steve Vai, and Van Halen just to name some.

Ethan Skinner played and recorded all the guitars, keyboards, and bass. He used Drums on Demand drum samples or Superior Drummer to layout the drums. His two sons Austin and Alex helped write some of the songs as well. They contributed countless hours of nothing but fun studio jam sessions! Jeff Slack and Ethan also spent many hours together coming up with various guitar ideas that appear throughout the album.
