Joey Curtin began her musical career in the San Francisco Bay area. She has performed at the Sheraton Palace, Union Square, the Stonestown Galleria, the Ahwahnee Hotel and the Olympic Village Inn at Squaw Valley. Her cd "RIVER OF LIFE" is featured at the ANSEL ADAMS GALLERY in California.

Internationally, Joey has traveled to Ireland, Scotland, Italy, the Philippines, and Indonesia to perform and speak. She has been part of Peace/Reconciliation meetings in Northern Ireland.

Joey's trademark sound is the weaving of acoustic piano with synthesizers into stories beyond words. She is joined by friends on strings and percussion on "RIVER OF LIFE".... JASMINE KINNEY plays violin on various tracks; and GARTH WEBBER (who toured with Miles Davis) plays electric guitar on track 6 for a mystical arrangement of the ancient Irish melody "Be Thou My Vision".

During the year of 2004, Joey was hired by the Methodist Hospital at the Texas Medical Center in Houston to perform on a weekly basis. Her recordings have been used in emergency rooms, intensive care units, birthing rooms, cancer therapy centers and many other similar environments.
