St. Grandson - Wildfire (2017)

St. Grandson is the soft-footed indie pop project of Belgian singer/songwriter Benjamin Decloedt. The group broke through as finalist on the 2015 edition of De Nieuwe Lichting ("The New Generation"), a Studio Brussel talent competition that showcased the St. Grandson song "Midnight Swim." The appearance led to a contract with Universal Music Belgium, which released the follow-up single "All Around Us" in the spring of 2016. With Jolien Deley on cello, Klaas Tomme on synths and bass, and Laurens Van Bouwelen on drums, the band followed it up with "You Will Find" that October in anticipation of their 2017 full-length debut. ~ Marcy Donelson.
