Over four albums, L.A. have traveled from success to success in their native Spain, without making a name for themselves across the rest of Europe. Whether that changes with "King Of Beasts" is to be seen, but one must certify the "band" in any case, to do everything right, to occupy masses for themselves.
The quasi-singles 'Helsinki', 'Turn the Lights On' and 'Leave It All' are flanking an album that is well in the water of COLDPLAY, TRAVIS and KEANE. As expected, the set "adult" pop rock of the band is characterized by an unctuous, slightly bombastic feeling poetry. Luis Albert Segura (of course, where the band's name comes from) impresses with his craftsmanship - he plays guitar, bass and drums and sings) - as a result of his artistic vision. The 17 songs that were tonally staged by serene people (John Legend's producer Manny Marroquin and Michael Brauer, who in the past already John Mayer assumed) are typical radio fare that penetrates into the left ear and without reverberation on the other side again comes out.
As profound as the chose is supposed to be, the effect vanishes because of too much pathos and as a result of bad predictable twists. The number of tracks - however short they may be - is too much given the lack of momentum and bandwidth anyway.
