"Peter Nathanson plays the blues like no other blues man today, subtle with an inner sense of the “note” perfectly placed and emotionally charged. His voice is charged with soul and possesses that rare talent of leading the listener through the melodic landscape. This album speaks the blues of today, immersed in the current century but with the soul of the ages." ~Francis Rateau, Crossroads Magazine

Peter Nathanson, an American bluesman from Boston, Massachusetts, USA, has his own unique and modern sound. This bluesman, one of the best of his generation, posses a sense of the “inner note”, always well placed and emotionally charged.
Peter studied music with Robben Ford, Steve Lukather, Joe Diorio, Pat Martino, Randy Roos, and he graduated from the Musicians Institute of Los Angeles.

Peter began playing the guitar at the age of 12 with the usual guitar lessons. Discovery of Jimi Hendrix’s music and the revelation of the feeling of freedom and abandon the guitar could bring changed his life forever. He and his guitar have been on their own adventurous journey ever since.
At the age of 18, after going from Hendrix to Jeff Beck, Peter met Steve Jacobs (now the guitarist of Carey Bell) who introduced him to the blues. They spent many days during that year jamming in a small, old, wood panelled guest room in Steve’s house - The Wailing Room.

PETER NATHANSON established himself as a unique and talented guitarist zigzagging his way across the USA from Boston to Austin, from California to Pennsylvania. Like some of his predecessors, Memphis Slim, Screaming Jay Hawkins, Luther Allison etc., he chose Paris as his home.
He has been an Ibanez endorsee and demonstrator from 1999 - 2002 and a Fender endorsee and demonstrator since 2003.
