Bill Goins (Lead Vocals/Bass)- is one of the founding members of Freedom and Whiskey and is from Indiana. Bill also plays acoustic guitar and writes for the band. Bill is instrumental in production and recording engineering. Bill’s influences are Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Rush, Fleetwood Mac, Boston and Cheap Trick.

Chuck Mingis (Guitar)- is a long time veteran of the Louisville music scene beginning his professional career with Spanky Lee at the age of 17.After the demise of Spanky Lee Chuck helped co-found Edenstreet and quickly signed to A&M Records. But as fate would have it the band would find itself in a storm of corporate mergers and soon break up. Next Days of the New touring along side of future Freedom and Whiskey band mate Mike Huettig. Chuck has been writing and recording with Freedom and Whiskey since 2007 with no plans of stopping. Chuck has also played with: Numbhunger, Jimmy Davis Band, The Noes, Edenstreet and Fantasy. Chuck’s influences are: Jimmy Page, Joe Perry, Randy Rhodes, Peter Green, Joe Walsh, David Gilmore, Carlos Santana, Alex Lifeson, Adrian Belew and Bill Trail.

Scott Staidle (Strings)- Lives in Louisville, Kentucky and plays acoustic and electric violins, celloin and mandolin on Observation. He is a first violinist with the Louisville Orchestra. Scott recorded and toured with Days of the New and arranged all the orchestral instruments on the Red Album (Interscope Records). Scott also played on the Page/Plant No Quarter Tour. He has also arranged the orchestral music for Mel Tillis, Brian White, and Sondre Lerche among many others. He has also had two violin books internationally published by Mel Bay. Scott's influences are Shostakovich, Stravinsky, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and the Beatles.

Mike Huettig (Drums)- is from Louisville, Kentucky has played for Freedom and Whiskey since the beginning. Mike also plays keyboards, and sings backing vocals. As former bassist for Days of the New, he recorded with the band on the Red Album (Interscope Records) and toured from 2000 to 2002. He has helped with mixing and producing on all of the Freedom and Whiskey albums, and has played guitar on some of the tracks. Mike’s favorite groups are Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, James McMurtry, Soundgarden, and Jeff Buckley.
