Shye Ben Tzur, Jonny Greenwood And The Rajasthan Express - Junun (2015) CD Rip

Derrière ce nom de Junun se cache un ambitieux projet, inspirant et inspiré, associant l'Israélien Shye Ben-Tzur, Jonny Greenwood (guitariste de Radiohead) et le Rajasthan Express, le tout mis en image par le réalisateur Paul Thomas Anderson. L’album a été enregistré à Jodhpur en Inde, à l’intérieur du Fort de Mehrangarh, un édifice du XVe siècle, dans un studio de fortune organisé pour l’occasion. Nigel Godrich, producteur de Radiohead, a travaillé avec ce collectif pour finaliser ce double album somptueux. Un disque qui comprend des compositions de Shye Ben-Tzur, qui combinent l’extase des dévotions soufis de la tradition musicale Qawwal et son hébreu natif (Junun est une autre orthographe de Junoon qui signifie manie, ou la folie de l’amour).
