BATTS - The Grand Tour (2019)

The Grand Tour is the debut album from Batts and it’s eleven tracks chase a highly ambitious concept. The Grand Tour is a concept album focused on Voyager 1 from NASA's 1977 'Twin Voyager' mission. From the moment it left Earth until it crossed into Interstellar Space, Batts has placed live samples captured by Voyager with permission from NASA and Don Gurnett at the University of Iowa throughout the album, with this Batts takes you on her interpretation of Voyager's journey through space, through sound. The album consists of a mix of fictional stories and real tales.
