He started to play at 7 years old. From the beginning he was immersed into the world of jazz and improvisational music. He's also holder of the professional classical music degree as a performance in saxophone.

Datzira gone through music schools like the"Artistic Institute Oriol Martorell" and the "Conservatori del Liceu" in Barcelona (SPAIN), the "Conservatorium van Amsterdam" (NETHERLANDS) or the "Music'Halle" in Toulouse (FRANCE). He also received a scholarship on 2013 by the "Fundación de Música Ferrer-Salat".

As a sideman or guest artist he recorded around 14 published albums. As a composer he was finalist representing Spain in the International Composition Competition "Maurice Ravel" 2015-2016 in the category of "World Peace".

He has been part of bands like Andrea Motis & Joan Chamorro Sextet, Felix Rossy New Quintet, Marina Tuset Quintet, Miles Davis Tribut Big Band, Sant Andreu Jazz Band, Agujetas Chico, Angel Vegas Trio, Sonora Mandanga, among others.

He played on stage with great musicians like James Carter, Terell Stafford, Jesse Davis, Dick Oatts, Carles Benavent, Perico Sambeat, Jordi Bonell, Scott Hamilton, Scott Robinson, Wycliffe Gordon, to name a few.

Datzira has played as a member of a Big Band in festivals like Jazz in Marciac, Voll-Damm Jazz Festival Barcelona, Sedajazz, Colours of Jazz Andorra International Festival, Music Festival Can Franc, Jazz Terrassa, and more.
