This sacd is very difficult to ccme buy so if you are interested or curious about trying new music I would ask you to order it asap.
Quartet equinox was a band I had never heard of but after sampling this sacd I knew I had to have it.
Musically its a blending of jazz, a taste of blues and lots of flamenco guitar. It is a very relaxing sacd.
This particular album is what makes sacd so special. Its sound is truly impressive and extremely realistic. Instruments sound like real instruments and they have a place in 3 dimensional space. The recording is superb. There is very nice layering of the different instruments and the players make great music. Just listening to the acoustic guitar and how its rendered makes this album a great joy.
