Pamela Knowles' voice will enrapture the listener in this collection of favorites from her extensive recordings over the years. The power that Pamela's singing has to move an audience owes a lot to the acting experience which shaped her career. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, Pamela went on to train at the American Conservatory Theatre and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
After several years as an actress in New York, Pamela based herself in Europe where she pursued her career in jazz. The wide-ranging appeal of her talent has taken her on a musical odyssey around the world. She is equally at home charming a supper club in New York, exciting an audience at Ronnie Scott's Club in London, delighting crowds in a Paris jazz cellar with her funky latin-jazz explosions, appearing in concert with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and performing at jazz festivals in Australia and New Zealand. She has also appeared as the featured artist at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel's Cine Grill Supper Club and the Jazz Bakery in Los Angeles. She has performed several times on jazz broadcasts for BBC Radio London, ABC Radio Sydney and has been the featured artist with Radio New Zealand, with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra.
This particular collection of songs is going out into the world as a "Best Of" Pamela's recordings, chosen from amongst her many studio recordings.
