A single-album group from the city of Bergen (North Holland province). Active in the period from 1972 to 1974. The initiators of the creation of the group were the brothers Gustaaf and Onno Verburg. Concluding a contract with Ariola Records, in 1972 they released their first single, Blue Sofa / Orphan Girl. The following year, their self-titled album was released. All but one of the songs were composed by Gustaaf Verburg and Ide Min. After its publication, it turned out that the group composed one of the best progressive folk albums in Holland. The instrumental passages of an acoustic guitar, violin, flute, and piano were used in the music palette. And the undoubted decoration of the album was the strong and expressive vocals of Maarten Min. Unfortunately, in the future began leapfrog with a change of compositions. After releasing a few more singles, “Mayfly” disappeared from the musical horizon.
