Tonarbeiten - Wrong Turn Swing (2013) [Hi-Res]

Wrong Turn Swing' is a roadmap to the intricate progressions of our lives. Taking a chance and exploring all the right and wrong turns that are in front of us - guessing, which way it will be. Sometimes the wrong turns refine our form, more than choosing to burn our paths in unalterable clay.

Moritz Weissinger (drums) and Oliver Wojteczek (guitar) explore these experiences in their compositions on 'Wrong Turn Swing'. The recordings were made during their german tour in the fall of 2012. The renowned Bauer Studios in Ludwigsburg, Germany were in charge of for the mixing and mastering.

In 'Wrong Turn Swing' the young musicians are mainly making musical pottery in the realms of Contemporary Jazz ('Wrong Turn Swing', 'The Florist'), but they also sculpt a distinct diversity with their musical material - from Classical Jazz ('Any Idea For A Name') to latin/ african - inspired pieces ('Breathe Easy', 'Flow Of Smiles')
