Gismo Graf, shooting star in gypsy swing, has already established his place amongst the worldwide first-class guitarists and without any doubt is one of the best gypsy jazz guitarists nowadays. Driven by the urge of perfection and constantly creating new ideas he presents his new records Modus Vivendi.

Knowing the way of the 21-year old from Stuttgart/Germany one can already suspect that this album is not only another work of incredible variations of the music of Django Reinhardt. In fact charismatic Gismo Graf proves that gypsy jazz is way more than just a side genre of jazz. Gismo Graf dares the connection between jazz, pop, bossa nova, swing and strong self-compositions.

Father and mentor Joschi Graf is accompanying the young guitarist. On rhythm guitar he convinces with his accurate timing. Some of the sons are added by his warm and smooth voice. Virtuosic Joel Locher is playing a great double bass. Together they are forming the steady fundament of des Gismo Graf Trio.
