At KATZENBERGER MUSIC PRODUCTIONS, we put a premium on natural, unadulterated sound in all music genres, including jazz. Beginning with our first two productions, we have chosen not to use EQ, compression, reverb and other artificial sound processing, which allows us to capture the honest, live-performance sound of our recording artists. This helps the listener get the feel of the hall and the natural sound of the instruments, as well as the sound dynamics, just as they occurred in the original, in this case with a value of DR19.

Tip: Due to the special care given to dynamics in this production, it might seem less loud than the normal standard for recordings. We recommend that you boost the volume of your playback system to ca. 4-6 dB for your listening pleasure.
