Eight-piece New Orleans brass ensemble The Soul Rebels return with their first official album in over 7 years. In that time they have amassed a following of esteemed artists including Nas, DMX, G-Eazy, Rakim, Joey Bada$$, GZA, Katy Perry, Robin Thicke, Metallica, Marilyn Manson and Mannie Fresh, who have helped them enhance their live performances.

'Poetry in Motion' features a power packed line up of featured artists and collaborators including: Robert Glasper, Branford Marsalis, Tarriona "Tank" Ball of Tank and The Bangas, Big Freedia, Matisyahu, PJ Morton, Trombone Shorty and KES, as the group shift from jazz and R&B to hip-hop, pop and beyond with fire, focus and fluidity.

Far more than augmentation and accompaniment, the octet - Julian Gosin [trumpet, MC], Marcus Hubbard [trumpet], Lumar LeBlanc III [snare drum], Derrick Moss [bass drum], Corey Peyton [trombone, MC], Erion Williams [saxophone], Paul Robertson [trombone] and Manuel Perkins Jr. [sousaphone] - pioneer the integration of their chosen instrumentation.
