João Victor Barroso - O Barco (2019)

A son of artists, João Victor Barroso was born in the tropical brazilian city Fortaleza. His musical talent just pop up as a child, when he listened to the popular songs of the Brazilian repertoire. Throughout his life, he developed a wide interest within the musical universe, always with a glimpsy of experimental in its creation as composer. Nowadays, he can be seen as a multi-instrumentalist, since his performance goes through singing, guitar, bass, flute and piano playing, but also a wide range of percussive instruments.

With such a diverse trajectory, João Victor seems to have found his place working as a soundtrack composer in art pieces to theater, ballet, games and movies. Graduated in Music by the University of Ceará (UECE-2008) for years he sang as bass in corals, musicals and vocal groups. As a big part of his young life, at his 20ths he tour through Brazil (going also to France) with the rock band 2Fuzz and was a member of the bands O Garfo and Fóssil, playing on vocals, drums, guitar and composing/arranging the songs.
