Aaron Dolman - Nostalgia and Other Fantasies (2019)

With his debut album release, Montreal-based drummer-composer Aaron Dolman weaves together myriad influences - from Folk to Jazz - to create music that sways between evocative melodies, energetic improvisations and ethereal soundscapes. It is music inspired by the feelings of nostalgia that are stirred up when sifting through old family photos, driving though the Canadian Prairies or sitting by a quiet lake at midnight.
