A highly regarded pianist of the younger generation, Thomas Mayeras is captivated by his musicality and the richness of his melodic universe. Winner of the springboard at Jazz Au Phare in 2013, Cénac Jazz 360 and Pour Le Jazz Lille in 2013, he recorded his first album Minor's Serenade.

In this new opus of ten titles Do not Mention It, Thomas Mayeras confirms his talent as a composer by signing almost all tracks except The Sea Charles Trenet borrowed from the French repertoire and arranged brilliantly. Through the nine original compositions, the artist highlights the intimate dimension of his art while expanding his sound palette. Melodic, in Midnight Song and Morning Ballade. Rhythmic with the three-time Late Summer Waltz, the Caribbean Bonaire and bossa nova Kontarena. Orchestrale, with Do not Mention It the eponymous title of the album.

Lolo's Drivin was composed in tribute to the excellent French jazz drummer Charles "Lolo" Bellonzi, who is particularly appreciated alongside Nougaro and who is one of the first masters of Germain Cornet. And finally a nod to pianist Sonny Clark with Dial "T" for Tommy and Charlie Parker with Devil's Scare.

The personal and inspired style of the pianist is solidly supported by a rhythmic choice: Nicola Sabato on bass and Germain Cornet on drums.

Thomas Mayeras gives us in Do not Mention It a musical landscape that appeals with its elegance and affirms its mastery in the design of the art of the trio.
