Several months after competing on NBC's "The Voice," singer/songwriter Ashley DuBose found inspiration to start work on a full-length album. Fast forward 16 months, during which time the Twin Cities native juggled a part-time job, regular local performances, voice acting work and parenting a five-year-old daughter, and the LP is finally ready for release. Appropriately, the project is entitled Be You, an understanding that the common thread throughout the body of work is DuBose's voice, her emotions.
