Sunbane - Memory Hole (I) (2020)

Before signing to Disintegration State, Sunbane had been making music for some time. The Memory Hole series (to be intermittently released whenever he gets around to them over the next two years) cherry picks the scattered highlights from his pre-label work, and combines it with live work, remixes and other curiosities.

Memory Hole (I) is the low hanging fruit - two tracks that needed only the faintest lick of paint and a decent mastering job. Some Neon Winter is an ambient work in vein of Aphex Twin’s early masterpiece. Love Slays the Demon is an apocalypse of arpeggios and psychedelic swirls hung over a bassline that could level a city.
