Alfa Mist - On My Ones (2020)

I decided to give this EP a whirl after listening to, and loving, Structuralism for the first time. On My Ones is a very simple Man and his Piano type project, where Alfa strips back everything and shows off, in the simplest terms, just how great he can be when there is no else playing with him. This EP actually doesn't sound a lot like Jazz at all and if i had to place some influence, it would very much be in the Classical music genre, especially modern Minimalism. A very emotive project and quite different from his usual work, but if this is a step in a new direction for Alfa Mist, it's a welcome one. Can't wait to see what he does next
