“Anchovies & Ice Cream” is as weird of a palette as it sounds. Each song has a finely-crafted vibe for you to sink into but this record doesn’t let you get too comfortable in one place for very long. As a house-hold name in their city of Montreal, the live band “Only The Righteous” has a mission of bringing scattered souls together in gyration. It’s members drew from all of their respective languages for the record; Congalise, Creole, French, English, etc, and they applied the same formula for their choice of genres. It is said that the types of magic conjured when they play are both familiar yet foreign.
