Michael Bester - Now, Not Yet (2020)

“Now, not yet” describes the tension between how things are and how they could be – a striving for things that we cannot yet grasp. There is a sound I am chasing, but may never quite reach, and this tension drives me.

This is true of the world we live in - all is not yet as it should be. The hope is that this tension will drive us all to work to make things better, more beautiful, more harmonious. I hope that this music brings beauty into your life.

Thank you to the people who have been part of this journey: my wife, my son, parents, family, friends, teachers, bandmates, and the many great musicians, past and present, who continue to inspire me every day. This music would not exist without you.
