Between the wild side of Rock & Roll and the discipline of the great orchestras of the Swing era, SCORCIA BIG BAND BOOM is defined, led by the ruzafeño Miguel Angel Scorcia (Valencia 1972). A big band that comes vindicating in its live shows the golden age of Rock & Roll both in Spain and the rest of the world. Thus, to prepare their first album, they have chosen some of the songs from their live show, among which stand out: the "We Are Young" by the Dynamic Duo, "You are my dream girl" by the Valencian rocker Bruno Lomas, a tremendous "Mack The Knife" in Castilian or Paul Anka's "Diana" sung as recorded by Los Mustang in the early 1960s, all combined with Scorcia's own compositions that do not detract at all from these great classics (listen to his first single "Villa Amor" ).
SCORCIA BIG BAND BOOM is the first orchestra led by a Rock & Roll guitarist to the front, and this is their first album, a demonstration that the musical level of this country has grown many whole in the last two decades, and that styles that previously seemed unattainable for the native musicians they are no longer so.
