Guido Mancusi‘s orchestral music covers a surprisingly wide stylistic variety: from homage to Bartók to polkas and waltzes that have a strong connection to the music of the Strauß family. As a composer, Mr. Mancusi has been awarded numerous, prestigious prizes. His polkas and waltzes are regularly performed with great success all over the world, just like his “Concerto for Orchestra”, which was awarded a prize for the best performance of contemporary music in 2011. Mr. Mancusi is also currently Conductor in Residence at the Volksoper in Vienna.
