Joey Long - Blues Like Midnight (1978/2011)

The cajun/blues guitarist Joey Long was raised in the piney woods on a river bank near De Quincy, Louisiana. Long drifted between Houston and New Orleans during his form active years, gradually learning spectrum of Southern Rhythm' Blues styles. Long appeared, usually without credits, on records for Doug Sahm, Barbara Lynn, T-Bone Walker, Johnny Winter and Dr. John among others. In 1978 he released his first solo album The Rains Came.

This posthume album presents 2 new tracks you can t find anywhere else : Drugstore Blues and Blues Like Midnight .The song called Bluebear is in fact Blue Tear from "flying high" album in 1978. 3 other songs come from this lp . And 9 tracks are comin from "the rains came " lp album in 1978 too.
