The Peak Folk - The Peak Folk (1976) [Hi-Res]

Extremely rare 1976 album on the ultra-collectable Folk Heritage label.
This is FHR 082 by the four piece folk group The Peak Folk who perform traditional British folk & contemporary folk songs brilliantly. The album was produced by the legendary Alan Green and it has a beautiful textured cover. The line-up is Judy Aucott on vocals, concertina and keyboards, Buz Aucott on guitar, fiddle and vocals, Terry Lomas on guitar and vocals and Ken Scott on banjo, whistle & vocals.
All the output of the Folk Heritage label is collectable but the early issues, such as this one, when the label was putting out the best of British folk music, are particularly sought after. They were issued in very small quantities and were mainly sold by the band at gigs in small folk clubs - hence their rarity today.
