"Gratitud" is the first album by the renowned artist from Corrientes Alejandro Depiaggio. "It is the first album after so many years of music," he said and clarified that the name he chose for this record was a challenge because "it is not easy to name your first work."

He also recognized that he had many things on his mind, but that in the end it was his wife, Lidia, who recommended this name to him as a way of thanking all the people who unconditionally accompanied him in this important creative process. "Not only is it my first album, it is proof that things can be done in Corrientes with very good quality, but also that everything is much easier when there are unconditional people willing to give you a hand," Alejandro Depiaggio explained to NORTE of Corrientes.

The album has works performed in English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. It is a wide repertoire for all tastes. Topics that the public that has accompanied him for so many years is accustomed to hearing on the stages in which he usually performs, but which, currently, are silenced by the time of the pandemic that is being experienced.

The album began recording at the end of 2019 and when everything was closed in March of last year, it was practically finished. "Only the details that take time were missing, but over the months we were polishing them and thus we reached these first months of 2021 with the album in hand," he clarified.

The material was recorded in “Dr. Mario ”with musicians of the stature of Carlos Maciel on guitar, Jorge Castro on drums, Dr. Mario on drums and Alejandro Depiaggio on voice. The choirs were the responsibility of Candelaria Mallea, Carolina Bubenik and Nelly Blanco. The photos and design of the album correspond to María Lidia Zenón and Ernesto Colombo.
