Zola Moon - Down To My Bones (2002)

Nobody can sing like Zola Moon. Frank Sinatra and Luciano Pavarotti could, but they're both dead. Offhand, I really can't think of anyone else who could sing like Zola does on this CD accompanied by only an acoustic guitar. Right on pitch with tremendous power, and incredible melodiousness. She is truly one of the great singers of our time. And her original songs are great. Poignant, tough, intense, hook-filled, and relevant. Together, her amazing singing ability and her protean and superb song-writing make her extraordinary.~ C. Barrows
