Remember when the New York club scene was the envy of the world, when disco naps were as common as siestas and DJ's from the culture represented the culture and its artists? Tony Vee is a throwback to NYC and New Jersey celebrated past and his album, ClubLife Basics Vol. 1 is a trip down memory lane for club heads who lived to dance, dance, dance.

Now one of the album's highlights,The Dwild Groove by Tony Vee Featuring Delia Martinez, aka MamaFunky has been pulled as a single with a slew of hypnotic, speaker-shaking remixes, designed for dance floors (when they re-open) and living rooms alike. There are eight mixes in total (not including 3 instrumentals) ranging from Tony Vee's hard hitting Jerzafunk Band Mix. The blistering, piano worked ClubLife Music Album Mix 2, Dwayne"Spen"Richardson's breezy, jazzy Backroom Mix, DJ Ceasar Kelley's swirling Nocturnal Remix with its R&B touches and funky Grooves, the old school feel good stomping disco-infused Duce Is Wild Remix by Duce Martinez,DJ Martin Gee's dance floor thumping Groove Mix, and the sultry underground Minimalist Mix By Stephen"BreezeDBL"Wilson!

New Jersey native DJ/Producer Tony Vee honed his craft working with legendary Club Zanzibar DJ Tony Humphries in the 1990s contributing production skills to many of Humphries classic major label remixes for the likes of D-Mob, Living Color, and Jellybean as well flexing his solo skills for famed 90's dance labels such as Strictly Rhythm. Between European DJ gigs and continued studio work, the nimble-fingered keyboard player with an ear for unmissable bangers felt compelled to release a collection of tunes that would harken back to his musical roots, playing in packed clubs surrounded by DJ legends.
