This LP has quite a bit of variety from tenor-saxophonist Eddie Harris. Most of the selections are from February 20, 1977, although there are also two slightly earlier cuts that feature a rare sideman outing for trumpeter Don Ellis, and a humorous version of "That Is Why You're Overweight" from 1981. Otherwise Harris is showcased with a quartet that includes guitarist Ronald Muldrow. In addition Harris has duets with Muldrow ("No One Would Believe") and drummer Paul Humphrey ("One Man Section") and takes a vocal on "Drams Are for Real." No matter what the setting, the highly original and always funky Eddie Harris is heard in prime form.
