Since releasing their debut album The Chase back in 2013, Montreal indie folk pop band Groenland are returning with their sophomore effort A Wider Space on September 16th, 2016. After two years of touring in support of The Chase, Groenland regrouped and hit a more personal and intimate level of songwriting for the new album. A first look into A Wider Spaces comes in the form of the lead single Healing Suns .

Colourful, synth-pop melodies mixed with a touch of jazz, and the band s signature orchestral arrangements makes the new single irresistible, giving A Wider Space a strong first step forward. Although the song is drenched in colour and a contagious energy, its meaning originates from a darker place, as the band explains: Healing Suns is a song that represents the rediscovery of our own light after a long period of doubt . But as the sun rises on their re-structured confidence, the band returns to their warm-spirited nature and songwriting.
