THE BLUE WATER FOLK were a very fine folk group from Chorley , Lancashire who played locally in folk clubs and pubs. Their members were Geoff Ashton, Ian Grime, Steve Ocock, Alan Waring and Rita Waring . They sang together and solo but the stand out tracks are the ones sung beautifully by Rita Waring. You can listen to "The Snow is Falling" on YOUTUBE to make your own mind up !! They released two albums on the highly collectable Folk Heritage label .
