Extremely rare 1970 album on the collectable Folk Heritage label.
This is album (FHR 013S) by the five piece folk group The Blue Water Folk who perform a mix of traditional British & contemporary folk. The line-up is Geoff Ashton, Ian Grime, Steve Ocock, Alan Waring & Rita Waring.
All the output of the Folk Heritage label is collectable but the early issues, such as this one, when the label was putting out the best of British folk music, are particularly sought after. They were issued in very small quantities and were mainly sold by the band at gigs in small folk clubs - hence their rarity today.
