The Merton Parkas - Face In The Crowd (1979) [Reissue 1988]

The band's sole LP, while certainly flawed, offers a lightweight, novelty approach to the Jam-inspired mod-revival. A little too derivative to be taken seriously, but there are some fun songs nonetheless such as the U.K. hit "You Need Wheels," "Plastic Smile," and the title track.
