The Hungarian jazz quartet originates from 2016 when Akos Dorogi and Robert Szili first met. They quickly discovered that they have similar views on music and have a set of compatible compositions waiting to be played.
By the end of 2017 the group was formed: Akos Dorogi keyboards, Robert Szili guitar, Zoltan Horvath drums and Alex Berkesi bass guitar.

In 2018 the first album was released: Balance Wheel.
In 2019 the band was reformed, Alex Berkesi was replaced by David Mihalovics at the bass guitar and the drummer Zoltan Horvath was replaced by Tamas Katai.
Balance Wheel Group plays melodious pop-jazz and quality smooth jazz with improvised playful solos.
