The Doug Flowers Band is a group of bluegrass musicians from near Augusta, GA. Doug is a veteran bluegrass musician, who performed with Betty Fisher, Little Roy & Lizzy & Clinton Gregory.
Doug and his excellent group have produced their first band release called "Brothersville."
The title is appropriate as the Flowers brothers live in Hephzibah, GA, a town which before 1870, was the village called Brothersville.
The Brothersville theme continues with Lamb brothers Joshua & Aaron. Aaron’s original instrumental “Brothersville Breakdown” compliments the theme of the recording. Ed Dalton, a N.C. native, completes the group.
In 2012, Doug joined up with Country and Bluegrass artist, Clinton Gregory to form Clinton's bluegrass band.
In 2015, with the success of his CD, "Doug Flowers & Friends" charting a #1 song, "All Over Me", Doug put together his band, The Doug Flowers Band.
May 1, 2017, his CD, "Doug Flowers-Favorites" was released to radio and public with tremendous success and rave reviews, finishing the 2018 year at #23 forthe Roots Music Report of Contemporary Bluegrass releases.
2021, The Doug Flowers Band released its debut CD, "Brothersville"
