The originally planned concert for the 80th anniversary of the founding of Gustav Brom's Radio Big Band did not take place last year due to the covid. However, the joint playing took place in the studio and the result is recordings that the band will soon release.

The conductor Vlado Valovič came up with the initiative of studio collaboration. When the playwright Vilém Spilka (Jazz Fest Brno festival) approached him last year to perform as a guest at the concert for the 80th anniversary, Dan Bárta gladly agreed. "I liked to be a part of the job. Our country usually does not play with a big band. In addition, I was surprised at how many young players there are who already have a good name.
