In collaboration with long-time Musical Director, William Underwood, one of Chicago’s most creative arrangers, Bradford delivers something that is at once comforting and challenging. Along with William on piano, drummer David Victor and bassist Malcolm Ruhl round out the trio with Paul Von Mertens on saxophone and flute. Highlights include the violin of Alison Tatum and cello of Tobin Schindler making That Old Black Magic soar. World-renowned jazz guitarist Don Stiernberg brings his inimitable stylings to Angel Eyes, and Anne DeLangis joins Bradford as guest vocalist on My Foolish Heart and (I Love You) For Sentimental Reasons – two glorious voices merging two gorgeous songs.
