Jazz pianist Mads Granum has composed ten new jazz hymns for the album "Silent Explosions", which will be launched in November 2021 and in smaller chunks published on Youtube. Now the jazz hymns can be experienced live at the concert in Houlkær Church.
The last couple of years for Mads Granum are i.a. composed and arranged the album's 10 new melodies for lyrics by Ida Auken, Lisbeth Smedegaard Andersen, Iben Krogsdal, Christiane Gammetoft-Hansen, and others. Before the summer holidays, the quintet was in the studio to record. And this time they have had the star cellist Julie Tandrup Kock with them.
