The gimmick on this ten-song Tammy Wynette compilation is that each of these familiar recordings has been remixed and remastered from the original session tapes and features a few seconds of studio chatter at the start. So, you get to hear laughter, count-offs, and false starts. Producer Billy Sherrill says things like, "Okay, take two." None of this tells you anything new about the recordings, and it's hard to think of this as anything but Epic's exploitation of tracks that have already been reissued many times before. "I'm gettin' tired of this song," Wynette comments before the start of "You Can Be Replaced." We couldn't agree more.
