Among Brooklyn's emerging indie scene that continues to flourish is Lapêche which continues to make a name for itself. The group led by singer, guitarist and keyboardist Krista Holly Diem as well as her husband Dave Diem on bass is making its nest little by little and this year, they return with their successor titled Blood In The Water.

Faithful to their mix between indie rock and DIY punk with a hint of grunge, Lapêche takes back the lead on these ten new titles. And that’s to say that the Brooklyn band are launching the machine in the most beautiful way with incisive titles such as "Finally Trying" by way of introduction but also "Cool Job" and "Oliver" which follow suit. Krista Holly Diem's radiant voice rises over the roaring riffs of "Hopes For The Past" and "Night Witches" among others.

Blood In The Water captures all the melodic and explosive power of Lapêche. We will think among others of "Metric" and "Bells" showing that the quartet still has a hard time before reaching its peak with "B. Gentle" and the finale called "Elbow Grease". Their roaring and purposely old school music continues to kick in and they are ready to defend this record on stage with our darlings Russian Baths.
