MC Lyte - Legend (2015)

MC Lyte appeared on the scene in 1988 with the release of Lyte As A Rock ‐ the first full‐length album from a solo female rapper. But, it didn't stop there, she was also the first solo female hiphop artist to be nominated for a Grammy® award in 1993. The accolades continued, and so did the music. Legend ‐ MC Lyte's new release ‐ contains 11 tracks that show not only where she came from, but where she is right now.
