In 2005, on the occasion of Queen Beatrix of Netherlands’ 25th anniversary of the crowning, Angela Gheorghiu gave a splendid jubilee recital with the Orchestra of the Dutch Radio. It includes famous opera and musical arias, and Jacques Brel’s La Chanson des vieux amants sung both in French and Dutch in a moving duet with Jeroen Willems.
