Elliot Ho Yat Leung is a widely sought-after composer who has composed for the highest-grossing international blockbusters and productions. His music has been described as being "audio-graphically visual" by The Standard, and being able to "tug the audience's heartstrings" by Sina News. The South China Morning Post observed Mr. Leung as "a seasoned composer who enhances the magic of cinema."

Leung is a film composer best known for his blockbuster symphonic scores, most notably for the highest grossing non-english film of all time, The Battle at Lake Changjin. His other box office wonder films include Operation Red Sea and The Rescue. Leung works very closely with director Dante Lam, and has also collaborated with many other notable artists; namely actress Xin Zhilei (Brotherhood of Blades), Art Director Martin Laing (The Titanic, Pearl Harbour) and DP Peter Pau (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon). Since 2014, Leung's music has been played back more than 10,000,000 times on major televised platforms like CCTV, TVB, HKBN and NowTV. His music is released by Milan Records and Sony Classical.

Leung’s musical output has also reached many other concert stages. His concert suite from “Operation Red Sea” was performed in the National Centre for the Performing Arts in 2018, and was then used to open the 8th Foshan Film Festival in 2019. His quintet “I, Consciousness,” a multi-movement chamber work commissioned by the RTHK Chamber Soloists exhibited “a fresh approach to musical storytelling.” In 2014, his choral music was highly praised by The Honourable Bernard Chan of the Hong Kong Executive Council. Furthermore, his reimagination of Descendants of the Dragon was featured as part of the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong Handover celebrations.

Leung began his musical training at age 5 in the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts under Mr. Laurent Perrin. As a result of his musical excellence, he was selected to perform in the "Charming China Youth Arts Festival (亞洲藝術盛典 · 魅力中國)" during his secondary school years. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Composition from Wheaton Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Martin O' Donnell, David M. Gordon and Shawn E. Okpebholo.
