On April 8 in North America (a day before elsewhere), InFiné will release the third album by Barcelona duo Downliners Sekt, Silent Ascent, following up a trilogy of EPs released over the course of 2010 and 2011. Unlike fellow Barcelonian John Talabot, DS are exploring a murkier, more melancholy side of dance music on the title track here, with mournful organ-like tones and a beat that retains its presence without becoming overly forceful.
