The Hot Soup group (Hot Soup) was formed in the late 60s in the south of the USA, in Florida, by guitarist Mario Castellano, organist Willie Akridge and bassist Frank Carillo, who later was a member of such groups as Carillo and Doc Holliday. A little later to them drummer Glenn R. Tappan joined. The four released a single and a single LP in 1969, and disbanded soon after without success.
The album consists of 12 songs, lasting up to 2-3 minutes, the total playing time is just over half an hour. Impressions about the album: typical rock of the 60s, with a clear influence of the psychedelia that dominated that era, there is also pop and even in some moments "latino". Although a bit of a commercial approach slightly spoils the impression of the record, it can be safely recommended to fans of psychedelic rock. After all, the 60s do not deserve to be neglected. Heavy guitar solo riffs and hammond organ stand out, despite the fact that vocals are still dominant. Top songs on the record: "Groovy Feelin", "Oh No! Not Again" and "You Took Me By Surprise"
