About the Band ...... Bret 'Alan'... Vocals and Acoustic Guitars was born in Hamilton Ontario Canada and currently resides in Windsor Ontario, Canada. At the age of 19 joined a Journey Tribute band called 'Escape'. Bret Fronted the band and toured extensively throughout Canada and the USA For 10 years. During that time the band released it's self titled album 'Escape' in Canada. After the breakup of the band Bret took a 4 year hiatus from music an touring, but then started playing acoustic gigs around Ontario. Major musical influences include artists such as Journey and Kansas to Muddy Waters and Hank Jr. Ed 'Alan' Beers brings to the band years of Gospel and R&B. A preachers son, with years of playing in church, recently took to the Christian Rock market. Ed plays Piano, Keyboards, Electric guitar and Bass guitar. Dana 'Alan' Rung remains the steady 'time' keeper behind the drum kit. Dana started playing Drums at age 8 and never looked back. Dana played in various bands thru the years, gaining the experience that would eventually lead him to the Alan Bros Band. Dana's musical influences included Journey, Kansas, Styx, and 38 Special which made his style of drumming a natural for 'The Alan Bros'. Mel 'Alan' Pachuta brings to the band awesome natural ability and years of Bass playing. With his band the 'Human Beinz' Mel enjoyed great success and toured the world with hits like 'Nobody but Me'. Ed 'It'll be great!' Paraday has the gifted touch with the slide and leads on the Electric guitars. Playing the guitar since early High school, Ed's talent and agility are unbeliveable. Ed's musical influences are Seventies and Eighties rock and country. Mostly because 'they're great !!!' When not out with the Alan Bros, Ed teaches guitar to many students and performs in a Duo all over P.A and Ohio.Quite simply ..'The Alan Bros' sound like the The Alan Bros. Originality is the key. They're country rock style will be widely accepted and highly acclaimed. These 'boys next door' bring intimate ballads and true to life songs that only their mix of backgrounds and styles would make possible.
